"I have my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology and a Minor in Spanish from Doane University in 2021. I am currently in the MSW program at the University of Nebraska – Omaha’s Grace Abbott School of Social Work and expect to graduate in August 2025. I’ve always been interested in the field of psychology, and initially went into the field hoping to work with incarcerated populations to help provide them with the necessary skills to succeed following their release from prison. As I’ve worked more with children and families, particularly those with trauma, I’ve realized I enjoy helping them overcome barriers and build resiliency to reach their goals. I want to be in a field where I can help people understand themselves-- past, present, and future-- and help them work through their emotions, reach their full potential, and find happiness."
